Has anyone ever said to you "Wow, you mean business"? Today I am chatting with Kendra Swalls, a former elementary school teacher turned photographer and entrepreneur who is helping women let go of the notion that perfection equals success. She helps women business owners through her podcast, Girl Means Business, with a mission to help women not only launch their dream business, but to show them all of the marketing and social media tips and tools she's learned on her own journey.

In this episode, we are chatting about:

-How to get your clients to know who you are
-How to build trust with your clients
-Effective email marketing

Here were my Key takeaways for y'all:

-Perfection does not always equal success
-Know your audience and speak to them
-Never be afraid to jump into your entrepreneurship journey

More about Kendra:

My name is Kendra Swalls and I am a serial entrepreneur (admitting it is the first step). In 2012 I had the crazy idea to start a photography business, while I was teaching full time AND 6 months pregnant! I would love to tell you that my business took off like a rocket, but that couldn't be farther from the truth. In reality my business took a lot of time, hard work and patience. I had several failures along the way that I learned from, and that helped me appreciate the success that eventually came. In 2017 I was able to leave my teaching job to run my photography business full time. At the same time I found my second passion in helping other women start and grow their own businesses.
